MRZ Arquitectos设计团队的设计师们，试着在墨西哥Palacio de Hierro Polanco的中心位置，为大家打造出了一个美食胜地。位于一楼香水区和商场大堂之间的Café de la Escalera， 是著名法式美食大厨 Maricú Ortiz掌勺的一个不起眼的小餐厅。餐厅的厨房外面是酒吧，吧台的一部分被用作餐区，另一部分是客户服务区，这一设计体现了该餐厅的特点-既独特又兼容并包。
In the heart of Palacio de Hierro Polanco, we ventured to create an oasis for fine dining. Located on the ground floor between the perfume area and one of the store’s main halls, Café de la Escalera is a petit restaurant featuring the renowned French-style cuisine of chef Maricú Ortiz. The bar, embracing the kitchen with one section for dining and another for customer service, is the space’s central attribute—facing its ambience both seamlessly and uniquely.
厨房的外墙上覆着一层涂成白色的木板，这面特殊的墙壁让整个空间显得干净而明亮，好像是在随时欢迎过往的行人进来体验。三维模块化的空间安排，让那些逛了一整天累的不行的人们，以及那些想要和朋友们共享一顿精致晚餐的人们，可以轻松的找到一个休息的地方，放松自己畅享生活。虽然处于墨西哥城最奢华的购物中心之一，Café de la Escalera餐厅却是简约而精致的。
The kitchen’s outer walls are overlaid with panel boards of white lacquered wood, producing a clean and bright exterior, welcoming the passersby. This modular and tridimensional arrangement sets an easy-to-find rendezvous for the customer who wants to either just take a break from a long day’s shopping, or enjoy an exquisite diner among friends. Café de la Escalera remains a simple yet elegant place in one of the most luxurious shopping centers in Mexico City, a place that evokes a boutique and exclusive personality amongst the top global brands.
